Sales Representative
Based in Mid-Western United States

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Representative is responsible for representing Simport Scientific and supporting its’ customers.


Detailed Description

In a team and using a collaborative approach, the Sales Representative will perform the following tasks, without restrictions of any other task required to achieve organizational goals.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Meet sales, budget, and profit targets
  • Develop or maintain excellent business relationships with customers
  • Train distributors’ Sales Representatives
  • Manage accounts in his territory and support national accounts
  • Identify growth opportunities and document them in the CRM
  • Develop and execute an action plan maximizing the region's profitable growth
  • Support the implementation of commercial strategies put forward by the Management Team
  • Conduct competitive tracking



Knowledge and Experience

  • A Degree in a Science-related field and/or laboratory experience is a must
  • Experience in sales is an advantage
  • Experience selling to distributors (B2B) is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Able to work independently and with initiative
  • Results-oriented with a clear focus on customer satisfaction
  • Good organizational, planning, and time-management skills
  • Must be available to travel to Canada occasionally
  • Must be available to travel within the United States (50% of the time)
